The Crookston School Board will meet Monday, March 22 at 5 p.m. in the choir/orchestra room at Crookston High School. The school board will be asked to approve the postponement of the Crookston Music Trip to 2022. The board will also discuss strategic planning and have a second reading of updated policies in the 500-series as recommended by the Minnesota School Board Association.
The consent agenda will include approval of the February 22 and March 15 special meeting minutes; approval of bills and disbursements totaling $122,061.77; and accepting donations for $2,000 from the University of Minnesota for the Ag Program, for $5,000 from American Crystal Sugar for the Ag Program, and for $500 from Charles Larson for the Ag Program.
The consent agenda will also include approving the list of Spring Coaches, approving the Principal Contract for 2021-2024, and accepting three letters of resignation. The letters of resignation are from Rosa Frazee, ELL instructor; Cynthia Dubuque, paraprofessional; and Nancy Halstenson, paraprofessional.
The board will also review the administrative reports from Principals Denice Oliver (Washington School), Chris Trostad (Highland School), and Eric Bubna (High School). And they will get a report from Superintendent Jeremy Olson.
