CROOKSTON SCHOOL BOARD TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT

The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday night at 5:00 p.m. inside the Crookston High School Choir and Orchestra Room.

The consent agenda includes approvement of the July meeting minutes as well as the approval of the special meeting minutes on August 16, and any current bills. The consent agenda also includes approval of Melissa Palamo as a Paraprofessional at Highland Elementary School, approval of Corey Winger becoming Head Custodian at Highland Elementary School, approval of Lane Advance Requests, approval of the Master Agreement with AFSCME, Custodial Union for 2020-2023, approval of the Fall Coaches updated list, and accepting the resignation of Karen Cooley as Instructional Assistant at Washington Elementary School. There will also be the approval of Emma Morlan, Rochelle Chaput, and Jasmin Hanson as Instructional Assistants at Washington School, and Janise Dorman as a part-time Title Aide at WES.

The regular agenda will include the approval of the District Employee Handbook and Crookston High School and Washington School staff handbooks. The agenda will also include the approval of a mentorship program, approval of the second reading of any updated policies, and the board will set the “Truth in Taxation” hearing date for December 13, at 6:00 p.m.

The board will then hear from Highland Elementary Principal Chris Trostad, Crookston High School Principal Nicki Martinez, and Denice Oliver of Washington Elementary as they will all give Administrative Reports. Crookston Schools Superintendent Jeremy Olson will also report to the board.

The meeting is open to the public, and all are invited to attend.
