The Crookston Schol Board will have a special meeting on Monday, January 6, at 5:00 p.m. in the Crookston High School Choir and Orchestra room.
The meeting will start with the swearing-in of board members Mike Theis, Jaclyn Martin, and Lori Capistran. The board will then review Policy 209 Code of Ethics and elect officers.
The main agenda includes the designation of the official law firms of Fischer Rust Law Firm PLLC, and Ratwik Roszak and Maloney PA. The board will be asked to designate KROX Radio and the Crookston Times as official media outlets.
The board will look at setting the board meetings for the fourth Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m., except for the December meeting, which will be held on Monday, December 15, at 6:00 p.m. due to the Truth and Taxation hearing.
The board will be asked to approve board committee assignments, discuss preparation for the Superintendent mid-year evaluation to be reviewed at the January 27 meeting, and approve the employment of Hansja Braam as a second-grade teacher.
