Crookston School Board to meet on Monday, March 23

The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday, March 23 at the Crookston High School choir/orchestra room.

The meeting will start with a feature program on a Music Listening Team presented by Crookston High School orchestra teacher Lori Carlson.

The regular agenda includes approval of the meeting minutes from meetings on February 23, March 9 and 11, and bills in the amount of $935,028.08.
Personnel items include approving the employment of Brittany Weber as a paraprofessional and Wes Colborn as a part-time substitute custodian at Highland School. The board will be asked to approve the Spring sports coaches list, the 2025026 seniority list and a letter of resignation from Girls Tennis head coach Gina Gunderson.
The board will accept donations of $1,536.64 from the Crookston Baseball Association for Pirate Baseball equipment, $1,054 from the Crookston Masonic Lodge for the music trip, and $517.58 from the Pirate Fine Arts Boosters for the Middle School framed art piece.

The administrators will give their reports to the board.

The Main agenda includes approval of a five-year agreement proposal for our athletic purchases from either Game One or BSN Sports, approve College in the high School agreement with UMC and Alexandria Technical and Community College, approve purchase of Chromebooks, approve a housing incentive program with the City of Crookston for 2026 and 2027, and approve establishment of a cooperative with Riverside Christian School of East Grand Forks for Girls and Boys Soccer and Tennis.

The School Board will have a working session on Monday, March 30, at 10:00 a.m. in the District Office conference room. The next regular School Board meeting will be Monday, April 27, at 5:00 p.m. in the Crookston High School choir/orchestra room.
