The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday at 5:00 p.m. in the choir/orchestra room at Crookston High School (CHS) where CHS Principal Eric Bubna will give a presentation on the middle school model being implemented for the seventh grade.
The consent agenda includes approval of prior minutes, approval of current bills, approval of fundraising requests for the 2019-2020 school year, approving the Truth-in-Taxation hearing date, and the acceptance of grants/donations. Also included are the following personnel items. Resignations from Frank Ybarra, dietary; Rochelle Chaput SR/VPK aide at Washington Elementary School (WES); and Travis Ross, junior high boy’s basketball. Approving employment with Adrianna Isum as after school aide at WES; Karlie Brekken as after school aide at WES; Penny Halstad as a paraprofessional at CHS; Nicholle Fredrick as a paraprofessional at Highland Elementary School (HES); and Emily Meyer as a paraprofessional at HES. And accepting the retirement of Gayle Moen, a business instructor at CHS. The board will also approve salary lane advancement requests.
The main agenda includes accepting the resignation letter of Adrianne Winger as Treasurette Dance Coach. Approving a resolution establishing absentee ballot board for voting for School District Elections no held on the day of the statewide election. Approving appointed election judges. And approving the Preliminary Property Tax Levy for 2019 payable 2020.
The board will receive administrative reports from the district principals, Denice Oliver (WES), Chris Trostad (HES), and Eric Bubna (CHS). And also will receive a report from Superintendent Jeremy Olson.
