CROOKSTON SCHOOL DISTRICT HOLDS PRESCHOOL ADDITION GROUNDBREAKING

The Crookston School District held a ground-breaking ceremony for the preschool addition at Highland Elementary School on Monday afternoon.

The work has already been started and the preschool/early childhood center. The completion date is scheduled for early 2024 and will house the students coming over from Washington School in the 2024-25 school year. Incoming Crookston School District Superintendent Randy Bergquist said it will be a great addition to the district. “It will be a great opportunity for the families in Crookston and the neighboring communities because it will give more space for the students, for the staff to do as much as they possibly can with the kids and make sure they are ready to go on to the next level,” said Bergquist. “Mr. Kuehn has done a really nice job of keeping me informed, and I am really excited about this opportunity for our community, students, and parents.”
