The Crookston Education Association (the teachers union) membership unanimously ratified the tentative 2019-2021 master contract today.
CEA Chief Negotiator, Sara Geist, gave KROX a statement –
“Out of respect for the process, since the Board has not yet voted on the contract, I will decline to mention specific details. However, this round of negotiations might be described as “sitting at the same table” rather than “sitting across the table”. We have a common goal and that is to provide outstanding education, opportunities, and services for our students and families.”
The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday and will vote to approve the new contract. KROX will have more on the contract after the meeting on Monday.
