CROOKSTON SPEECH TEAM FINISHES SECOND IN SUBSECTION MEET; SEVERAL EARN INDIVIDUAL HONORS

The Crookston Speech Team placed 2nd overall in the Subsection 31A tournament this past Saturday, with all members advancing on to Section tournaments.

Emily Balboa took 1st place in Dramatic Interpretation; Linnea French took 1st place in Extemporaneous Reading; Sophia and Samantha Rezac took 1st place in Duo Interpretation; Victoria Proulx took 1st place in Storytelling; Zara Baig took 2nd place in Humorous Interpretation; George French took 3rd place in Humorous Interpretation; Brandon Wandrie took 4th place in Creative Expression; and Elizabeth Helgeson took 5th place in Dramatic Interpretation.

The Speech team now moves onto Section 8A Tournaments on Tuesday, April 13. The top 3 in each category will then advance to the State Tournament on Saturday, April 24.
