CROOKSTON SUPERINTENDENT URGES AT HOME SCREENING FOR COVID SYMPTOMS TO KEEP SCHOOLS OPEN

Crookston Superintendent Jeremy Olson sent a communication to parents in the Crookston School District Tuesday afternoon urging parents to continue to stay vigilant about COVID-19 screening and other protocols to keep schools open. His email is below –

Good Afternoon!

I wanted to communicate how important it is to continue to screen your children every morning for symptoms (see attached screening form). We just recently were able to get to the point that all schools are open in person everyday! We know that in person instruction is so crucial for our kids and we want to keep our schools open. We can only keep our schools open by staying vigilant and following the basic protocols such as screening students in the morning, wearing masks, practice social distancing, and washing our hands regularly. Please remember to screen your students for symptoms. If your child is symptomatic please keep your child home until the symptoms have improved and your child is without a fever for 24 hours.
