On Saturday, March 2, the 6th-grade Crookston boys basketball team placed 2nd in the Warren Jaycees & Lions Tournament. The boys beat BGMR in the first game 35-19 and Warren-Alvarado-Oslo 28-19 in the second game to get into the championship game. They lost in the championship game to the Grand Forks Hoosiers 50-37 in a hard-fought game.
