CROOKSTON YOUTH WRESTLERS COMPETE AT STATE JAYCEES TOURNAMENT

Crookston youth wrestlers had their final wrestling tournament of the season as eight wrestlers made their way to Grand Rapids Jaycee’s State Tournament at the Grand Rapids High School last weekend.

The tournament kicked off on Friday evening for 5th-8th graders, and on Saturday morning, pre-k through 4th grade competed.
Aiden Samuelson took home 1st place
Jacob Kresl finished 2nd place
George Genereux, Hobey Bakken, and Jett Page finished 3rd place
Cylas Fontaine and Layla Genereux finished 4th place.
Layla Genereux also competed in the girls-only tournament and finished 5th place.
