You may have noticed the new sign going up at the AmericInn in Crookston this week. The AmericInn brand was purchased about a year ago by Wyndham, so the sign had to be updated. However, because the AmericInn has been receiving high ratings from guests on Trip Advisor, they were able to get a grant to help pay for the sign said Manager Cory Dallager. “Recently we switched over, about a year ago, to Wyndham,” said Dallager. “AmericInn by Wyndham now. The sign had to be updated and there were some things we got some money to help us purchase that sign. One was with the Trip Advisor award we received and helped us pay for it, get it put up, and changed. Trip Advisor scores off of the cleanliness of the hotel and what guests are saying when they come to stay with us. We had really good comments on Trip Advisor and that was a help supporting us.”
Because of Crookston’s rating, Wyndham provided the Crookston hotel with a $10,000 grant towards the replacement of their sign explained Dallager. “With the changeover in the last year here the signs all had to be changed,” said Dallager. “A lot of the logos have to be changed with Wyndham taking over all the AmericInns, so a lot of changes happening. The great Trip Advisor score helps get a new sign put up otherwise it would cost us the full amount to put up a sign. Wyndham helps us support that.”
The AmericInn has a 4.0 rating on Trip Advisor and also received 4.5 ratings in the categories of location, cleanliness, and service.
