Crookston’s Chloe Boll verbally commits to UMC Women’s Basketball

Crookston High School senior Chloe Boll has verbally committed to play basketball for the University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles next year.

Chloe said she committed to UMC for several reasons. “I love the community and stay close to home. I really like the coaches and team, and I get to play with Halle Winjum again, which will be awesome,” said Boll. “The school has an exercise science program, which is something I would like to do. I want to be a personal trainer one day. I like what the program stands for, the coaches, and everything.”

Boll, an outstanding three-sport student-athlete at CHS, will play her fourth year of varsity basketball this winter after being named all-conference as a junior. She was a swimmer for four years and made it to state in the 50 and 100 freestyle races her sophomore year. After the swimming program was cut, Boll played tennis for the final two years of high school and was part of the Section 8A championship team as a junior. In the spring, Boll has been on the varsity track team since seventh grade and has been named Academic All-State and co-holds the Pirate girls’ pole vault record at 9’7 along with former and future teammate Halle Winjum, who is playing basketball at UMC.

Boll is also a Crookston High School Leo Club member, student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and National Honor Society.
