Crookston’s Ethan Boll announced in July that he verbally committed to the University of North Dakota to play Division I Football for the Fighting Hawks. He made it official today at Crookston High School, signing a letter of intent to play at UND with his coach, family, and friends by his side.
This fall, Ethan had 211 carries for 1,481 yards (7.02 yards per carry) and 25 touchdowns. He was 3 of 3 passing for 13 yards, and had four receptions for 22 yards. Ethan was also one of the top defenders on the team while playing linebacker and defensive end. He was named the All-District Most Valuable Defensive lineman, he was all-District and all-Section 8AA. He also played in the Minnesota Football Coaches Association and Minnesota Vikings All-Star Football game a couple of weekends ago.
Last winter, Ethan won the 220-pound State Championship in Wrestling and is ranked #1 in Class A at 220 pounds this year.
