They will have fun, food and activities for all ages and Kevin Helgeson and his Thunderbolt Sound and Light show providing the music according to DCDP’s Shirley Iverson, “We are pretty excited to have Kevin Helgeson. He does a great job of mixing up the music and will have something for everyone.”
There will be three food trucks on Monday. “We are pretty excited to have a new food truck coming out of Plummer called Driftwood Grill,” said Iverson. “Back by popular demand, we have Lupe’s Tacos and the ever-famous Draft’s Food truck with their famous mac and cheese, street tacos and pretzel bites.”
University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle fall sports student-athletes will be in attendance and will serve floats and help out with games for the kids. “We are so excited to partner with UMC and Kamille Meyer. She will bring out the football, volleyball and soccer players and they will have some challenges for the kids and people of all ages with prizes,” said Iverson. “They will have some tickets to games, t-shirts and they will serve free root beer floats.”
The featured Microbrewery is Surly Brewing. “They are out of Minneapolis and one of Minnesota’s most famous microbrewery and they will be giving away prizes, gifts, and some swag,” said Iverson.
