DECEASED PERSON FOUND IN CAR AT NEW FLYER IN CROOKSTON

The Crookston Police Department was called to the employee parking lot at New Flyer in Crookston on Tuesday evening on the report of a deceased person found in a car. 

Updated: February 22, 10:50 a.m.

Yesterday, on February 21, 2023, at approximately 6:23 p.m., the Crookston Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive adult male in a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot at New Flyer of America, 214 5th Ave. SW, Crookston.

A 57-year-old male was found deceased inside of the vehicle. He was transported to the University of North Dakota Pathology Lab for an autopsy. The name is not being released pending family notifications.

There is no public safety concern, and the incident remains an open and active investigation. The Crookston Police Department was assisted by Crookston Area Ambulance and The Polk County Sheriff s Office.
