DEMERS AVE WILL CLOSE FROM 3RD ST TO 6TH STREET IN GRAND FORKS MONDAY

Crews will be closing Demers Ave. from 6th St. to 3rd St. in downtown Grand Forks starting on Monday, May 20, 2019.  This closure is Phase 1 of a 4 phase reconstruction project of Demers Ave. from 6th St. to the Sorlie Bridge.  The entire project is expected to be complete in mid-November.

Vehicles are asked to follow the detour signs that will be posted for this project.

During this first phase of the project, pedestrian traffic will only be able to cross Demers Ave. at 6th St. and 3rd St. in the downtown area.

Updates will be provided throughout the project as crews move to different phases of the reconstruction.
