DISTRICT 9 DIVISION II LEGION NORTH SUB-DISTRICT TOURNEY REVISED, SOUTH BRACKET RELEASED

The District 9 Division II American Legion Baseball Tournament playoff brackets were released Sunday afternoon.  And they were released again on Tuesday afternoon when Badger-Greenbush-Middle River dropped out of the tournament.   So that changed things from a seven-team tournament to a six-team tournament.  BGMR wasn’t expected to win a game, so the only thing that really changes is there will be two fewer games in the tournament and it will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

The tournament is split into the North and South Sub-Districts.  The seeding is decided by a point system (Roseau played until the High School Season state championship on June 17.  Roseau only played four district games in the short three-week season and is the fourth seed, even though they are the state runners-up this spring.). The seeds and bracket are below.

NORTH SEEDS –
1. Warroad
2. Fosston
3. Stephen-Argyle
