Donald (Donnie) Pinsonneault – Obit

Donald (Donnie) Pinsonneault, 68 passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2022 at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN.

Graveside service will be held at 00 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls, MN with Deacon John Bruggeman officiating.

He was born on March 7th, 1954 in Red Lake Falls, MN.  Donnie was the son of Joseph and Lorraine (Longtin) Pinsonneault.

Donnie worked for a period of time in Grand Forks, ND, and Red Lake Falls MN before relocating to Minneapolis, MN.  Donnie worked for Pillsbury Corporation for many years and later at Pitney Bowes.  He married Katherine Leigh Mayfield on September 20th, 1996 in Minneapolis where they resided. Kathy passed away on January 27th, 2013.

Donnie moved to Winona, MN in 2016 where he resided at Lake Winona Manor until the time of his death.

Donnie was the kindest, sweetest, most loving person you could ever meet. He always had a kind word to share and a great smile to help make your day special.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, stamp collecting with his dad, baking cookies for family and friends, doing puzzles, reading, watching movies and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings!!  Donnie especially enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on Maple Lake.  He was dearly loved and with fond memories will be greatly missed by many.

Donnie is survived by his sisters Janet (Don) Nitti of Winona, MN, Betty (Tom) Houghtaling of Port Charlotte, FL, brother Jim (Candy) Pinsonneault of Bemidji, MN and all his loved nieces and nephews and cousins.

Donnie was proceeded in death by his wife Kathy, his parents Joseph and Lorraine and all of his aunts and uncles.
