DOWNTOWN CROOKSTON DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP ADDS SLED CHECK OUT TO CENTRAL PARK

The Downtown Crookston Development Partnership (DCDP) has installed a Sled Check Out in Central Park near the pool parking lot with donated sleds to use and return. The bin dubbed “Snow Much Fun” is geared toward children who want to sled and either don’t have a sled or don’t want to drag their sled to that location.

Anyone in the community can use the sleds or even donate sleds to the check-out bin at any time this winter. The idea came from Pinterest and other northwest Minnesota towns that have adopted sled libraries or similar projects. Follow the Downtown Crookston Development Partnership Facebook page for more community fun coming in 2021. Pictured with the sled check-out are DCDP board members, Jess Bengtson and Shirley Iverson.
