DR. STEVE GANDER OFFICIALLY FILES FOR ELECTION FOR REP. DISTRICT 1B

Dr. Steve Gander, an Optometrist in East Grand Forks and Crookston, officially filed for election to the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 1B.

Gander received the Republican endorsement earlier this year and is gearing up for the fall election.  “Through the endorsement effort, I have gained a friendship with my opponent Travis “Bull” Johnson, and I appreciate that he has put his support behind me for the remainder of this election cycle”.  Gander is also endorsed by Representative Deb Kiel, who is not seeking reelection this fall.

Gander believes that most people in this area are deeply concerned with the direction our state government has gone the past several years, and he looks forward to working with residents and other elected officials to turn things around.

“As we head into the season of community festivals, parades, and county fairs, let’s get out and enjoy what we love about the great state of Minnesota!  See you there!”

Gander plans to spend time in all the communities in Minnesota House District 1B between now and November.  He invites you to call or email if you have any questions or thoughts to share.
