Ethan Boll receives the West Polk County Farm Bureau Paul Dragseth Memorial Scholarship

University of North Dakota Sophomore Ethan Boll has been named the winner of the 2025 West Polk County Farm Bureau Paul Dragseth Memorial Scholarship.

Boll is currently attending UND and is studying Unmanned Aviation Systems and Business Administration. He plans to apply these skills on Boll Family Farms in the future and contribute to the advancement of agriculture.

The scholarship was established by the West Polk County Farm Bureau after Dragseth’s unexpected passing in December 2021. He served on the West Polk County Farm Bureau board of directors for over twenty years in several positions including president and most recently, secretary.  “His insight, humor and presence are greatly missed not only in Farm Bureau, but in the many community groups and organizations he volunteered with and supported. He would be thrilled that his name is associated with helping young people pursuing careers in Agriculture,” said Shayne Isane, Paul’s long-time friend.

West Polk County Farm Bureau created this scholarship to support students who plan to pursue careers in agriculture and plan to enter the workforce in West Polk County or the surrounding communities after graduating.
