FERTILE EMS TO HOST EMS WEEK OPEN HOUSE ON SATURDAY, MAY 25

The County EMS in Fertile will host an EMS Week Open House on Saturday, May 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend, tour the ambulance, and see the equipment. There will be a bouncy house for the kids, games, complimentary coffee, cookies, and Kool-Aid, and learning stations. Food will be available for purchase from the popular Barnyard Bites.

You will be able to meet the team of dedicated EMTs and paramedics who give themselves every day to alleviate pain and suffering in our service area. Attendees will be able to participate in free handy-only CPR and STOP THE BLEEDING training. Visit www.stopthebleed.org and click on the Get Trained link, then go to the open house for hands-on validation of your new skill!

Drop off your expired medications to support the National Prescription Drug Take Back program; you can also drop off unneeded miscellaneous medical supplies (diabetic supplies, adult diapers and chucks, wound care items, etc).

There will also be a  Kids’ Coloring Contest. Coloring sheets can be picked up at County EMS or participating area businesses during the week and can be dropped off during the open house any time before 2:00 pm on May 25, 2024. Kids from preschool to 12th grade are encouraged to participate.
