FOLLETTE RAISES MONEY FOR CARE & SHARE, CHILDREN’S NETWORK HOSPITAL WITH LEMONADE STAND

Crookston youth Lacey Follette attended the Miss Minnesota Competition last month with Miss Northern Lights Muira MacRae.  One of the platforms of Miss Minnesota is having a social impact. And on Tuesday, Follette and her sister Mallory were doing their part running a lemonade and bake stand on East Robert St.

Follette said they were raising money for the Care & Share and Children’s Network Hospital. “We’re doing it for fun and charity,” said Follette.  “We are doing it for the Care & Share and Children’s Network Hospital.”

They were also getting some help from MacRae and Follette said she got the idea of where to donate the money too from the Miss Minnesota Pageant. “I saw people in the Miss Minnesota pageant,” said Follette.  “They were donating money to the Children’s Network Hospital. So I just wanted to do that as well.”
