FOSSTON/BAGLEY/CROOKSTON SWIMMERS FINISH 6TH AT SECTION TRUE TEAM MEET

A Professional Swimmer

The Fosston/Bagley/Crookston Seal Girls Swim team competed in the Section 8A True Team meet on Saturday and finished sixth out of seven teams with 494 points, while the deep and talented Park Rapids Panthers won the meet with 1,327.5 points, almost 300 points better than runner-up Fergus Falls.

We have how the Crookston swimmers did below –

Mackenzie Aamoth – Kenzie was on the ninth-place 200-yard relay team that finished with a time of 2:16.73, good for 40 team points. She finished 11th place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:16.67, good for 18 team points. Kenzie was also on the 12th place 400-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 4:41.51, which was good for 34 points. She finished 22nd place in the 200-yard freestyle race 2:35.80 for seven team points.

Chloe Boll – Chloe had the best day, place-wise, of the Crookston swimmers. Her best performance was a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 59.73, which was good for 24 team points. She finished sixth place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.11 seconds and that was good for 23 team points. Boll was also on the seventh-place 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.32 while bringing home 44 team points. She was on the ninth-place 200-yard relay team that finished with a time of 2:16.73, good for 40 team points.

Evie Gunderson -Evie finished 17th place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:30.40 which was good for 12 team points. She finished 19th place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 3:04.90 for 10 team points. Evie was on the 21st place 200-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 2:18.17, good for 16 team points. She was also on the 20th place 400-yard relay team with a time of 5:22.14 good for 18 team points.
