FOUR MEMBERS OF CROOKSTON SPEECH TEAM ADVANCE TO STATE

The Crookston Speech team competed in the Section Tournament on Tuesday with four of the nine speakers advancing to the State Tournament. Sophia and Samantha Rezac took 1st place in Duo Interpretation, Victoria Proulx took 1st place in Storytelling, and Zara Baig took 3rd place in Humorous Interpretation. Those four now advance to the State Tournament on Saturday, April 24.

Other awards for Crookston included Emily Balboa taking 4th Place in Dramatic Interpretation, George French taking 4th place in Humorous Interpretation, and Linnea French taking 5th place in Extemporaneous Reading. Elizabeth Helgeson also competed in Dramatic Interpretation, while Brandon Wandrie competed in Creative Expression.
