GOLDEN LINK IN CROOKSTON HOSTS VETERAN’S DAY PROGRAM IN FRONT OF A PACKED AUDIENCE

The Crookston American Legion, VFW, DAV and Auxiliaries, the Yellow Ribbon Committee, and Cathedral School Choir presented a Veterans Day Program this morning at the Golden Link in Crookston. It was a packed room as Veterans and family members gathered to remember, thank, and honor those who gave their service.

The program began with a brief message from Margee Keller, followed by playing the National Anthem. Elaine Metzger gave A Veteran’s Day Prayer, the Cathedral School Choir sang a few songs, and the American Legion, VFW, DAV and Auxiliaries, and the Yellow Ribbon Committee all gave tributes.

Lunch is now being served at the Golden Link until 1:00 p.m., and supper will be served this evening from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. You need to RSVP for supper by 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, so there is still time to sign up. The meal will be free for all Veterans and their wives or significant others.

Pictures of the program can be found down below –
