The Crookston Veterans Council, which includes the Crookston American Legion Post and its Auxiliary, Crookston DAV and its Auxiliary, Crookston VFW and its Auxiliary, and the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Crookston, are honoring our heroes who have served in the U.S. military on Saturday, November 11. The Ceremony is promptly at 11:00 a.m., and lunch for our veterans is immediately following.
They will be serving lunch to Crookston Veterans and one guest (spouse or guest) as well as the widows and widowers of our veterans, but you must pre-register by calling the Golden Link at 218-281-3072 by Thursday, November 9. Supper will not be served this year.
The Veterans Council and George French will host the program. The Veterans Council extends an exceptional thank you to the Golden Link for their continued support and assistance.
The American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and DAV Auxiliary have purchased green light bulbs, and they are available at the Golden Link at no charge—one per household until they are gone.
