GRAND FORKS AND EAST GRAND FORKS WORKING TO OPEN POINT BRIDGE BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY

After passing inspection, the Point Bridge on Minnesota Ave. will be back open by the end of the day today, May 5, 2022.

The Sorlie Bridge on Demers Ave. remains closed.  At this time, the inspection on the Sorlie Bridge is not expected to occur until Monday, May 9, 2022.

Throughout the rest of this week, crews will be removing the pedestrian closures that were put in place along with the flood protection system.

The closure at Riverside Park is expected to be removed early next week, weather permitting.

Please be advised that the Red River is still in the moderate flood stage, which means there are several areas in the Greenway that are still underwater.  Use caution when using the trails on the Greenway.
