GRAND FORKS FLOOD WEBSITE AND SAND BAG PICKUP

Grand Forks County Emergency Management has launched a 2019 Flood Fight website at  www.grandforksgov.com/flood

This website will provide information for both residents of the City of Grand Forks and Grand Forks County.

“Since flood response will be different for Grand Forks County residents compared to City of Grand Forks residents, communication will be key this spring.” Kari Goelz, GF County Emergency Manager said.  “We want to make sure that the information that goes out to the public is the right information.”

The 2019 Flood Fight website will provide users with information on road closures due flooding in GF County, updated river levels, frequently asked questions, and official news from GF County Emergency Management.

User will also have the ability to sign up for notifications during this year’s flood fight to receive an e-mail every time news releases are sent out from GF County Emergency Management.

The 2019 Flood Fight website is a joint effort between the City of Grand Forks, GrandForks County, and Grand Forks Emergency Management.

Grand Forks County will have sandbags for pickup at the following County Sheds:

  • Grand Forks: 1700 N Columbia Rd
  • Manvel: 505 Oldham Ave
  • Emerado: 107 West Emery Ave
  • Gilby: 15 5th St
  • Inkster: 523 Railroad Ave E
  • Northwood: 407 34th St NE
  • Larimore: 102 Walcott Ave
