GRAND FORKS IMPLEMENTS NEW RESTRICTIONS FOR BARS/RESTAURANTS

Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski and the Grand Forks City Council implemented new orders for bars and restaurants in Grand Forks on Thursday evening.

New orders are below –
– Close dance floors
– Patrons must be seated unless they are entering, leaving, or going to and from the bathroom.
– Close blackjack tables, dartboards, and other bar games.
– Occupancy is capped at 50 percent of the capacity listed on the permit.
– Special events or gatherings that expect more than 500 people must undergo city review.

Violating the order gets the business a $500 fine, which doubles to $1,000 for subsequent offenses. The new order is below –
