GRAND FORKS PD RESPONDS TO MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT

Earlier this morning, officers from the Grand Forks Police Dept. responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 1100 blk, of 5th Ave N.  A 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Samantha Dauphinais, age 32 of Grand Forks turned from N. 11th St. onto 5th Ave N. travelling west.  The passenger side rear of her vehicle struck a parked 2020 Dodge Ram. Causing the Equinox to flip onto the driver’s side.  Fire Dept. personnel were able to get her out of the vehicle by removing the windshield of the vehicle. There were no passengers.

Altru Hospital ambulance also responded but Dauphinais was not transported.  Dauphinais was cited for “Care Required”.
