Just before 11:00 a.m. on May 1, 2022, Grand Forks officers were dispatched to 2606 13 Ave S. for suspicious activity.
A male subject followed a female into a secure building and requested to use her cellular phone. The unknown male followed the female into her apartment and assaulted her before fleeing.
Officers located a male that was identified as the subject.
The same male subject was arrested and transported to the correction center. The male was charged with Terrorizing and Felonious Restraint. There may be additional charges to come at the conclusion of the investigation.

There is not an ongoing threat to the public from this incident.

The male suspect arrested in conjunction with this incident is identified as 27-year-old Jarrod Jashawn Adams of Grand Forks. Adams was arrested and charged with Kidnapping, Terrorizing, Felonious Restraint, and Simple Assault.
