GRAND FORKS POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST TWO FOR TERRORIZING AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Earlier today, at approximately 3:19 p.m., officers of the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to a disturbance call at the 600 block of 41st Av. So.

Officers received information from dispatch that there was a report of a weapon being involved. Upon arriving on scene, officers observed a male and female outside of a residence. Officers witnessed the male holding a handgun, and he threw it into a garage. The male then went into a residence. Officers were able to communicate with the female, who was still outside of the residence. After a period of time, the male voluntarily came out to speak with the officers.

After speaking with the victim and gathering evidence on the scene, officers arrested Rolando Garza, Jr., age 33, of Grand Forks, ND. Garza, Jr. was charged with Terrorizing and transported to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. While still on scene, the female threatened a male who had just arrived on the scene. The female was identified as Maykin Davis, Age 41, of Grand Forks, ND. Davis was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Davis was confined at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
