GRAND FORKS POLICE MAKE ARREST AFTER BULLET TRAVELS THROUGH THREE APARTMENTS

On Monday, December 30 at approximately 9:47 p.m., officers of the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to 615 1 Ave S for a report of a weapon discharge.  Upon arrival officers spoke with several residents and confirmed there were no injuries. 

A weapon was discharged from within the building, in an apartment.  The bullet travelled through three apartments before stopping.  Minimal property damage. 

A suspect was identified and later located without incident.  The suspect was arrested and taken to the correction center.  The investigation is on going. Grand Forks resident, Jeffrey S. Alldread (42 years of age) was located at a separate location from the initial incident, and arrested afterward.  He was charged with Reckless Endangerment and Discharge of a Firearm in City Limits.  This is still an active investigation, and anybody with additional information is encouraged to contact the Grand Forks Police Department. 

The criminal investigation bureau responded and processed/ collected evidence.
