On June 26th, 2021 at approximately 1:49 a.m. Grand Forks Police Officers were dispatched to the Quality Inn (3251 30th Ave South) for a reported victim that had been shot. Officers on the scene located one victim with gunshot wounds to the torso. The victim was ultimately transported to Altru by paramedics. Their condition is unknown at this time. It appears the victim and the suspect are known to each other and there is no immediate danger to the public.
Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Paramedics assisted during this incident. UAS was called in to assist in the investigation.
