GRAND FORKS POLICE RESPOND TO ALTRU ER AFTER A MAN CHECKED IN WITH A SELF-INFLICTED GUNSHOT WOUND

On June 13, 2021 at approximately 6:39 PM, Officers of the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to the Altru Emergency Room for a male subject that had arrived there with a gunshot wound. The initial investigation revealed that the injury was caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, which does not appear to be life-threatening.

The male subject was immediately seen by staff from the Altru Emergency Room and is currently being treated for his injuries.

At this time no names are being released and no charges are being filed. The Grand Forks Police Department would like to thank Altru Personnel for their assistance.
