The Grand Forks Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of 27th Ave north and north 69th Street on Monday, October 10, approximately at 4:00 p.m. Arriving units determined two of the three people involved had not survived the crash. The preliminary investigation shows a van was eastbound on 27th Ave N, crossing north 69th street, when it was struck by a truck that was northbound on north 69th St. The Grand Forks Police Department was assisted by the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Office, North Dakota Highway Patrol, Altru Ambulance and the Grand Forks Fire Department. The crash is under investigation, and more details will be released at a later date.
