GRAND FORKS WOMAN DIES FROM A POSSIBLE DROWNING

On July 11, at approximately 8:57 pm, Grand Forks Police Department officers responded to a call of a possible drowning at a north Grand Forks residence.  Upon arrival, the adult female victim was unresponsive.  Lifesaving measures were attempted on the scene, and she was transported to Altru for additional lifesaving measures, but she did not survive.  The Grand Forks Police Department is grateful for the assistance of the Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Ambulance during this incident.

Victim information is being withheld at this time, pending family notifications.
