Gregory Tommerdahl – Obit

Gregory Tommerdahl, 64, beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on January 15, 2022. He entered this world on November 20, 1957, in Ada, MN, born to Edmund and Norma (Ford) Tommerdahl.

Greg grew up in Hendrum, MN where he graduated from high school. After graduation he farmed along with the Tommerdahl brothers, then in the later years went to work with Randy Borgen. Greg enjoyed his free time by tinkering on tractors and taking wheeler rides around the countryside. Greg loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, taking tractor rides, and celebrating the holidays whether it be lighting fireworks or having a grill out. Greg attended the annual Minnesota Steam Thrasher’s Reunion, where he loved watching the parades and eating the food. Greg enjoyed trips to the Iron Range and visiting family. He also liked just driving around and taking in the scenery.

Greg was known for his love of Minneapolis Moline Tractors and the Three Stooges.

He is survived by his daughters, Kayla Tommerdahl, Holly Tommerdahl-Ritchie (Aaron Reiling), and Samantha (Nick) Nedrebo; sister, LeeAnn (Alroy) Ambuehl; brothers, Howard (Terry) Tommerdahl, and David (Marlys) Tommerdahl; sisters, Linda Borgen, and Shirley Mueller; sister-in-law, Vickie Tommerdahl; granddaughters, Audrianna Tommerdahl, Darryan Nedrebo, and Kylie Reiling; grandsons, Gage Tommerdahl and Tristan Reiling; and Baby Reiling, due 8/2022. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Greg is preceded in death by his mother, Norma; father, Edmund; brother, Dale Tommerdahl; and brother-in-law, Harold Mueller. As well as many cherished close friends and family.

Greg died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Essentia Health Hospital in Ada, MN.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hendrum, MN.
