GULLY MAN DIES IN A SINGLE CAR ROLLOVER

On Friday, December 14 at 7:29 a.m. Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies and first responders were dispatched to 330th ST SE and 380th AVE SE rural Gully, for a report of a one-vehicle rollover. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered the sole occupant from the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup truck, an adult male age 19 deceased. Preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times, ejecting the sole occupant and driver. The victim was identified as Joshua Charles Anderson age 19 from Gully.  Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.  Anderson was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Responding agencies were the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Essentia Ambulance.
