Crookston Girls Basketball’s Halle Winjum, a junior point guard, has been named to the Minnesota High School Basketball Coaches Class AA All-State Honorable Mention team.
Winjum played in all 28 games this year and averaged a team-high 20.3 points per game while recording 568 points on the season. She also had a team-high 251 rebounds (9.0 per game), 148 assists (5.3 per game), 109 steals (3.9 per game), and tied for a team-high 18 blocks.
Winjum wrapped up her junior season with the following career numbers-
Points – 1,463
Rebounds – 562
Assists – 471
Steals – 395
Other Section 8AA players named to the all-state honorable mention team were Anna Steer of Hawley and Willow Thiel of Perham.
Section 8A players named to the all-state honorable mention team were Gabrielle Fineday of Cass Lake-Bena, Caitlyn Jacobson of Goodridge/Grygla, and Kaitlyn Vesledahl of Fosston.
