Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream Parlor in Crookston, located at 705 East Roberts Street, will offer a few new menu items and holiday deals beginning November 15. The new pizzas will be available until the beginning of 2022 and are called the “Holiday Turkey Dinner Pizza” and the “Pumpkin Cheesecake Dessert Pizza.”
Crookston Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream Parlor owner Jake Fee said the Turkey Dinner Pizza is for Thanksgiving lovers. “The Holiday Turkey Dinner Pizza will start on November 15 and go until the end of the year. It’s an exciting pizza,” said Fee. “It will be on our pan crust, have cranberry sauce with turkey, our blended cheese, stuffing, and there will be some gravy swirl in there too. The idea is that it’s a bite of Thanksgiving with every slice.”
Fee also explained the Pumpkin Cheesecake Dessert Pizza is a popular option and one they do every year. “During the Holidays, we will also have this option for people who want to mix things up,” said Fee. “We’ve had a Cherry Cheesecake Pizza before, and this year we are switching to the Pumpkin Cheesecake option. It will start on November 15 and go through the end of the year just like the Turkey Dinner Pizza, and it’s a very popular one, so we’re expecting to sell quite a few of those.”
The main ingredients for the pizza will be Pumpkin Pie Filling and Cheesecake Batter.
The restaurant will also be bringing back a gift card promotion this year during the holidays, beginning the day after Thanksgiving. “Every year during the holidays, we run a promotion through Valentine’s Day where if you come in and buy a gift card(s) $30 or more, you receive a $5 voucher to be used during your next visit,” said Fee. “It is not valid on our buffet but is valid on anything else.”
With the holidays around the corner, Fee also wanted to inform the public that the restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and will operate on New Years Day from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. They are still unsure about Christmas Eve hours at this time. Outside of those days, they will continue to operate every day from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
