Highland Elementary Sixth Graders began testing their truss bridges Monday in the class. Mr. Halland’s class began testing their bridges on Monday. Mrs. Scholler’s and Mrs. Stegman’s classes will test their bridges on Wednesday and Friday.
Sixth-graders have been learning about engineering and need to design their bridges to hold at least five pounds of weight. Several of the bridges tested on the first day held in excess of 100 pounds.
