HIGHLAND SCHOOL THANKS VOLUNTEERS FOR HELPING CLEANUP THE NATURE CENTER

Highland School teacher Andrea Ingersoll organized a Highland School Nature Center cleanup on Saturday morning.  The Nature Center vegetation and trees had overtaken the Nature Center, but with COVID-19 mask breaks and teachers wanting to spend more time outside, Ingersoll thought a cleanup would help get it back into shape, and she was right!  Look at the pictures Ingersoll provided below.  The before and after pictures (pictured at the bottom of the page) that Ingersoll shared with KROX are amazing.

“Highland school would like to especially thank Jessica and Brian Christianson and Christianson Tree Service for the use of their equipment and for sharing their amazing knowledge of native plants and trees. We would also like to thank our amazing volunteers,” said Ingersoll. “We had parents, administrators, and current, former, and future students involved in the cleanup.”
