On Thursday, January 10 at approximately 5:36 p.m. the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a house fire at 18 Main Ave N Winger. The resident of the house was not home at the time of the fire. Winger Fire and Rescue responded along with Erskine Fire and Rescue, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Fire Marshall’s Office. The fire appeared to be an accidental fire. No injuries were reported.
