Crookston Hugo’s Family Marketplace donated last week to the United Way of Crookston. Assistant Store Manager Linda Peterson said Hugo’s President Kristi Magnuson-Nelson also added a matching donation from the corporate office. “Thank you to all the Hugo’s employees who donated $3,000,” said Peterson. “And on top of that, Kristi was able to donate another $3,000. And also, thank you for the support of the Crookston community for supporting Hugo’s.”
United Way Executive Director Lori Wagner funds will go toward the 2020 United Way Campaign to support the agencies supporting the Crookston community.“Hugo’s is one of our best supporters,” said Wagner. “Every year, they help us tremendously. They always help us with our golf tournament we weren’t able to have this year. We usually make about $13,000 on that. But this $6,000 goes to our 19 agencies local agencies that serve within 30 miles of Crookston for programs and projects that impact thousands of people.”
