Irene Verna Ulrich was born November 4, 1921 in Red Lake County, MN, the daughter of Carl and Emma  (Gieseke) Ulrich.
On November 28, 1945, Irene was united in marriage to Wallace Hince.
Foremost she was a farmer’s wife taking care of the cows, pigs and chickens. She wall-papered, painted, canned foods from the garden, baked doughnuts, pies and cookies.  She loved to shop and travel.  Most of all she loved visiting and spending time with friends and family for whom she was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Irene liked quilting and coffee parties.  She took great pride in her clean house and at the age of 89 was still taking care of her yard, which landed her the “Yard of the Month”.
She is survived by a sister Mildred Olson of Milwaukee, WI along with many nieces, nephews and their families.
Preceded in death by husband Wallace on November 30, 1993; parents, Carl and Emma Ulrich, siblings, Elmer Ulrich, Bennnie Ulrich, Bernetta Ulrich, Rosetta Berg, Ella Marwitz and Marie Fortier.
