ISIEOMA ODOR NAMED NSIC NORTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK AGAIN

University of Minnesota Crookston women’s basketball player Isieoma Odor (Sr., Bloomington,) was named NSIC North Division Player of the Week for the third time this season.
Odor scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 70-61 win over Bemidji State University in the conference opener in Bemidji on Saturday. Odor made 10 of her 15 field goal attempts, added two steals, a block, and an assist. Odor passed Micaela Noga for seventh all-time UMC Women’s Basketball career scoring with 1,122 career points. Odor needs 84 points to move past Brittani Wiese for sixth all-time. She is currently third all-time in rebounds with 609 career boards. Odor needs 87 rebounds to surpass Laurie Tyson for second, and 89 to move past Katrina Nordick for the school record for rebounds. Odor is averaging a double-double of 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds for Minnesota Crookston this season.
Odor joined Minnesota State University’s Rachel Shumski as NSIC Players of the Week.
The Golden Eagles open their NSIC home slate Friday, December 7 at 5:30 p.m. against Minnesota State University Moorhead.
