JoAnn Elouise Bowman – OBIT

JoAnn Elouise Bowman, 80, of Crookston, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2023.

JoAnn was born on March 15, 1943, to her loving parents, Vincent and Evelyn (Ingvalson) Baatz in Crookston. She was a graduate of Crookston High School with the class of 1960. On December 26, 1970, she married Ralph Bowman at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Nielsville, MN. Throughout her life, JoAnn lived in Virginia and Minneapolis before returning to Crookston where she lived the remainder of her life.

She is survived by her nephews, Duane and Ronald Baatz, and niece Patricia Schmaltz.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Evelyn, late husband, Ralph Bowman; brother, Raymond Baatz, and sister-in-law, Marlene Baatz.

The memorial service celebrating JoAnn’s life will be at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
